Graduation Day

Kindergarten graduation is such a hoot. The school does a pretty good job of moving things along, but enough of a celebration that it feels like a big deal. First, they sang songs for us... when your kid is tall, you have to settle for getting a head shot, since they will always be in the back row. and then we watched a slide show of different activities during the year. But the most important part was going across stage, receiving a diploma, and telling the audience what they want to be when they grow up.
By the third child, I know that there is a crowd mentallity, and whichever girl has the coolest career choice will influence the whole class. So this year, we had mostly artists, and some dance teachers. One brave little girl wanted to be a scientist, i think there were a couple veterinarians. DeAnne wants to be a dance teacher. yeah...... she's been dreaming of that since, maybe this morning. lol.
