Labor Day, you tease

Labor Day comes about 10 days after school starts. which means that a day off still feels like the good life. and its just a tease.

this weekend flew by. and we're still not really adjusted to the whole back to school routine yet. so to think of getting everyone up and on the bus tomorrow kinda doesn't sound great.

did I mention i'm walking most mornings with my buds from the neighborhood? it's been great. i went by myself on saturday though. and that was pretty boring. so i hope this winter i can stick with it even if we aren't out walking together.

We had the small group over for dinner tonight and had a great time. ahhhh. so relaxing to sit around and eat a burger cake. you say - what????

here it is. the most amazing lisa c. has done it again and we were wowed with this. i'd like to say it was so beautiful we admired it and didn't touch it. but it was delicious and only crumbs remained. (the middle was a big brownie) yum.
